Freeze dried dog treats are pretty awesome.
They are like raw dog food but without the grossness because they are dry – freeze dried to be exact. We also now realize we don’t actually know what freeze dried means, so we looked it up:
Freeze Dried = to preserve (something) by rapidly freezing it and then subjecting it to a high vacuum that removes ice by sublimation.
We now want to freeze dry everything in our kitchen including cotton candy and beer, because that sounds amazing.
So you can imagine how excited we were when the mail lady rolled up with packs of Orijen Biologically Appropriate Freeze Dried Dog Treats kindly sent to us by Orijen.
These little tid bits of tasty meat made in Canada contain a single ingredient, meat. Yup, no fillers, crapola or things that sound good but actually make your dog a little gassy at his yoga class.
In Max’s own words he thought they were: “deliciously meaty with a hint of mouth watering meatiness”
