Moonlight Dog Café – Vancouver’s First And Only Dog Café

Finally, A Coffee Shop For Dogs

Max bounced around like an unruly pinball in an east Vancouver nightclub pinball machine when we released him into Moonlight Dog Café.

The 7-month-old café which is nestled between trendy downtown Vancouver coffee shops and hit-the-ground-running start ups is Vancouver’s one and only Dog Café.

The Low Down About Moonlight Dog Café

Moonlight Dog Café is similar to a pet store, but a pet store that you want to live inside because it’s super clean, has chairs you can lounge on, and generously offers tons of high quality and free treats your doggies can chomp on.

Walkiessss

Although Moonlight Dog Café doesn’t serve food or coffee (unfortunately the authorities wouldn’t allow it), you can bring in your own to-go steaming Americano or food take out to enjoy while your dog saunters around sniffing the shelves for treats. (There’s a Starbucks super close by.)

Moonlight Dog Café also has some mad food for sale yo. They have freezers upon freezers of raw food for dogs and cats. (They carry 11 brands to be exact including 6 Canadian: 3P Natural, Red Dog Blue Kat, IrRawsistible, Carnivora, BC’s Best and K9 Choice.)

They also have a crazy selection of colourful leashes, collars and dog supplies.

What really stood out to us and Max’s drooling, little mouth was the fab and plentiful amount of locally made dog treats. (Luckily they were displayed on shelves too high up for him to ransack them).

TREATSSSS!!!!

We ended up leaving with a large, smelly dried fish skin treat which Max devoured in minutes before falling into a deep, deep sleep where he dreamed about wearing a doggy beret in his new fave café.

He was. He really was. We look forward to meeting you again at some other type of animal cafe. It took us 9 months to come up with this reply. We hope you appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into our words.
